EP Embodied Processing

A somatic, evidence-informed approach to nervous system healing and embodied transformation.
Book a Session

Embodied Processing (EP) is an integrative and holistic approach to transformation designed to work with the whole human — bottom up, top down, and inside out.

It supports you to meet what’s underneath the surface: the unprocessed stress, emotion, and protective patterns that can live in the body and nervous system for years — sometimes decades — shaping how you feel, cope, relate, and move through life.

This work is evidence-informed, deeply compassionate, and honours both modern neuroscience and ancient healing wisdom.

What EP helps with

EP can support a wide range of experiences, including:
  •  Stress, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout

  •  Depression, emotional numbness, shutdown
  •  Trauma and developmental trauma
  •  People pleasing, hypervigilance, fawning pattern
  •  Self-sabotage, procrastination, inner criticism

  •  Low self-esteem, shame, not-enoughness
  •  Dysfunctional relationship patterns / anxious-avoidant dynamics

  •  Chronic tension and some forms of stress-related pain
  •  Addiction patterns and coping behaviours (supportive alongside appropriate care)
Often these aren’t “personality flaws” — they’re nervous system strategies and protective adaptations that once helped you survive.

Why talk therapy isn't always enough

Talk therapy can be incredibly valuable — and for many people it’s been life-changing.

But when it comes to unprocessed adverse experience, insight alone doesn’t always reach the places where the stress is held.

Because much of trauma and emotional wounding isn’t stored as a story — it’s stored as sensation, contraction, charge, and nervous system dysregulation.

Talking about a broken leg doesn’t heal it.
And in the same way, talking about pain doesn’t always resolve the stress held in the body.

EP is designed to meet what lives underneath the thinking mind — gently, safely, and at your pace.

How Embodied Processing works

EP is a somatic technique used to safely meet and digest the underlying roots of what drives many surface symptoms.

Rather than “fixing” you, EP supports you to:

  •  Build capacity in your nervous system
  •  Widen your window of tolerance
  •  Meet sensation in the body without overwhelm
  •  Connect with the parts of you that have been innocently suppressed
  •  Experience resolution through the body’s innate intelligence

Over time, as you learn to meet yourself with unconditional love and acceptance, the past begins to metabolise — and you naturally return to a more present, grounded, embodied way of living.

What a session feels like

Sessions are gentle, guided, and collaborative.

You won’t be forced to relive anything or “go back” before you’re ready. We work with what’s here in the present moment — in your felt sense — and follow your system’s cues.

You can expect:

  •  A short check-in and intention
  •  Creating safety

  •  Guided tracking of sensation in the body
  •  Slowing down the mind and listening inward

  •  Meeting emotions and protective patterns with compassion
  •  Nervous system regulation and integration
  •  Grounding at the end so you leave resourced

This is not about pushing through. It’s about becoming safe inside yourself.

The approaches EP draws from

Embodied Processing is integrative and draws inspiration from a range of cutting-edge modalities and neuroscience-informed approaches, including:
  •  Somatic Experiencing (SE)
  •  Polyvagal Theory (Stephen Porges)
  •  NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)
  •  NeuroAffective Touch (NATouch)
  •  Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  •  The Diamond Approach (Open-Ended Inquiry)
  •  Compassionate Inquiry (CI)
  •  And much, much more
Is EP right for you?
EP can be powerful if you feel like you’ve:
  •  “tried everything” but keep looping in the same patterns

  •  Done lots of mindset work, but your body still reacts

  •  Understand your story, but still feel stuck

  •  Feel anxious, guarded, numb, or on edge “for no reason

  •  Crave deeper self-trust, emotional safety, and embodiment

If you’re unsure, we can start gently — and we’ll always go at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

About Mo & her training

I’m Mo — founder of Soul Space Chester, trauma-informed practitioner, yoga teacher, facilitator and coach.

I studied Embodied Processing Level 1 and Level 2 with The Centre for Healing, and I continue to embody these teachings in my own life and work.

This is a modality I deeply respect because it honours both the science of the nervous system and the truth of lived human experience — with compassion at the centre.

A deeper transformation journey

While individual sessions can be powerful, meaningful and lasting change often happens through a supported journey over time.

Working together across multiple sessions allows us to build nervous system safety, gently meet deeper patterns, and create space for true integration and transformation.

For this reason, sessions are offered as curated journeys, where we can draw from a range of modalities to support you in the most aligned way.

Available Journeys

4 Sessions — £369
A beautiful starting point to begin exploring the work and creating movement.

6 Sessions — £519 (recommended)
Allows for deeper nervous system regulation, integration, and meaningful shifts.

10 Sessions — £850
A longer container for profound personal transformation and sustained support.

Sessions can be a combination of:

  •  Embodied Processing (EP)
  •  Breathwork

  •  Holistic Life Coaching
  •  Quantum Regression Therapy

Each session is guided intuitively, meeting you exactly where you are.

Aftercare & integration

EP can be subtle and powerful. After a session you may feel lighter, clearer, tired, emotional, or very calm.

I’ll always encourage simple integration like:

  •  Hydration + gentle movement
  •  Quiet time / journaling
  •  Early night if possible
  •  Less “doing”, more spaciousness

FAQs

Do I need to talk about my trauma?
No. You can share as much or as little as you like. EP works primarily with the body and nervous system, not the full story.

Will I get overwhelmed?
The work is designed to build capacity gently. We go slowly and stay within your window of tolerance.

Is this therapy?
EP is a somatic, psycho-spiritual approach to embodied transformation. It can be deeply therapeutic, but it is not a replacement for medical care or clinical mental health support where needed.

Can EP help alongside counselling/therapy?
Yes — it can pair beautifully with talk therapy, because it supports the body-based component that talk therapy doesn’t always reach.

If you’re feeling the pull, trust it.

You don’t have to do it all at once — you just have to start somewhere.
